The first artical I read “Top Ten Mistakes In Web Design” was very interesting. The artical told you the top ten things that makes a website not user friendly. This artical was interesting because it told me about not making the webpage very text heavy so people wont get intimedated and don’t make your page look like an advertisment so people don’t ignore it. As well the artical talked about making sure your webpage is consistant so the viewer knows how everything works and do not have to get worried about hitting a button, and let the viewer know what page they have already visited. These are really good tips that i can use to make my webpage more usable to the viewer.
The second artical I read was “top ten worest web sites to navigate in 2006′” witch was interesting the auther told what was wrong and why he had problems with the sites. Some of the problems he had where not being able to read the websites, not finding his way around the sites, the site not having any usful information on what it was about. I thought it was interesting because now that I know these things I can make sure that I try to go over my site and make sure that I do not have these problems.
