The first artical was interesting because it talked about the limitations that us as graphic designers have to used to such as the screen sizes that most people use and the colors that most operating systems will have so that your design will not look different on each computer you go to and this artical also talked about the graphic files that you should use for the web witch are gif. and jpeg. files because they can upload fast and look on screen.
The second artical that I read was about the color safe pallet and why we have it. Back in the day not alot of people had color cips that where more than 8-bits so that would only have 256 colors and the color safe pallet works off of 216 colors so if some one does have an older computer they can still view your website and have the colors look the same.
